A simple planning package for young adults 18 and up—so the right people can help if life gets complicated.
Turning 18 is a big milestone. It also changes who can access medical information, help with finances, communicate with a school, or step in during an emergency. POM Launch helps young adults clearly name who they trust—whether that’s a parent, sibling, partner, close friend, or chosen family member.
The young adult is always the client. Parents and supporters can help coordinate or pay, but the choices belong to the young adult.

A clear voice, before life gets complicated.
Parents and loved ones are often surprised to learn that turning 18 changes what they can do in an emergency. Hospitals, banks, and schools may not be able to share information or accept instructions without the right documents in place.
POM Launch gives young adults a clear way to say:
“If I need help, this is who I trust.”
Name who can speak with doctors and help in a health emergency.
Authorize a trusted person to handle banking, bills, or paperwork.
Set up the right path for FERPA and school communication.
Whether you're heading to a dorm, signing your first lease, starting work, serving in the military, or planning a year abroad—these documents can travel with you.

Everything in Essential, plus:
Not every document is right for every young adult. Travis will help determine what makes sense.
The young adult completes a short intake form.
Travis meets with the young adult to review their choices. Parents or supporters may join part of the conversation if the young adult wants them involved.
Gasper Law prepares the documents and coordinates signing.
The young adult receives final copies and practical instructions for sharing them with the right people.
Because the young adult is the client, Travis will always spend part of the meeting privately with them. This protects their voice, their privacy, and their choices.
We know many parents are the ones who first think of these documents. That support matters. POM Launch makes room for parents and supporters to help coordinate, participate, and pay when the young adult agrees.
But this planning belongs to the young adult. That means they choose who can help, what access is shared, and who receives copies.
FERPA protects student education records. If a young adult wants a parent or trusted person to access school information or communicate with the school, a FERPA release may help.
Many schools require students to complete the school's own FERPA release through a student portal. We can help identify the right next step, but the school may control the final process.
POM Launch is designed for young adults who may be in Dallas, away at school, traveling, or starting a new chapter somewhere else. We will confirm the young adult's physical location before finalizing signing instructions.
At Gasper Law in Oak Cliff.
When appropriate for the documents and the young adult’s location.
When the young adult is away from Dallas.
Choose a 45-minute meeting time that works for the young adult. We will confirm the time by email and send a few quick questions to help us prepare.
You will receive a confirmation email after booking. If the young adult is not yet ready to schedule, you can also ask a question first.
They do not need everything figured out before starting. POM Launch is here to make the next step simple, respectful, and clear.
